●特集：アメリカ海軍航空母艦の100年

1922年にアメリカ初の空母「ラングレー」が就役してから100年が過ぎました。その間、第二次世界大戦や朝鮮戦争、湾岸戦争などアメリカは数々の戦争に介入、その最前線には常に空母の姿がありました。大戦中最も多く建造されたエセックス級や冷戦期に登場した世界初の原子力空母「エンタープライズ」、最新鋭の「ジェラルド・R・フォード」級まで。新規作例や過去作例と共にエポックメイキングとなったアメリカ空母を作例紹介します。

【Discription】
One hundred years have passed since the first American aircraft carrier "Langley" was commissioned in 1922. During that period, the U.S. intervened in several wars, including World War II, the Korean War, and the Gulf War, and aircraft carriers were always at the forefront of these conflicts. The American aircraft carriers that were epoch-making will be introduced with new and past examples such as from the Essex class, the most widely built during the Great War, to the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the Enterprise, which appeared during the Cold War, to the state-of-the-art Gerald R. Ford class, the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the Essex class was built in the 1930s and so on.
